My sister once got asked what character from Friends she’d be, during her graduate jobs hunt. Her answer was something along the lines of “never watched it, never will, how is this relevant?”.

She didn’t get that one, needless to say but she was happily employed a few months later with a company that kept the stupid questions to a minimum.

If you really have to ask those “personality insight” questions, make it open-ended enough so that every candidate can just pick something at random and waffle around it. It’s not a good idea to assume that everyone’s going to be familiar enough with a franchise to pick out a character and compare them with their own personality.

I totally understand your frustration. The good news is that the high-fluoride toothpaste and the xylitol gum/mints really worked. I don’t know if dentists are willing to prescribe that to a small child, but it’s worth looking into.

my grandson has been on ADHD MEDS for almost two yrs…this past year we have been going crazy with the change of different kinds now to make it even worse we took him to the dentist and he went from having no cavaties to 5 in one year..he has to have alot of work done..I started looking it up on line and sure enough it could be the meds..he is only six and has the get crowns and fillings and we dont even give him sweets…I’m so over these meds and side effects..

Focus is a Good Thing when it comes to finding a job. One of the few things worse than being stuck in a bad job is having had that bad job for two months, finding a better opportunity, and then having to explain to the potential employer that your current job was really just a “desperation job”.
